The Abomination is a clone of Zippy that was created by the Spooky Aliens using his emotions. After being brought to a state near death, it became obsessed with gaining more life energy.
The Somewhat Pointless Adventures of Zippy[]
The Abomination was created by the Spooky Aliens to torment Zippy and attack him after their encounter with Zippy and Mulder in the second issue. Creation of the creature began in the fifth issue and finally completed in the tenth issue, where it then attacked Zippy by using his emotions against him. It was heavily weakened and banished away to another dimension. It later found it's way back in the sixteenth issue and attempted to steal Zippy's life force so that it could restore itself to it's former self. However, Zippy and Mulder defeated it once again and it was permanently destroyed.
